Retail Theft at Burlington Coat Factory on Rand Road, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 11:33 AM Saturday of a theft at Burlington Coat Factory, 30 West Rand Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders concealed merchandise for sale on their persons before leaving the store without paying for the merchandise.

The first offender is described as a male/black, approximately 20-25 years old, average height and build with medium length black braids and wearing a gray sweatshirt and pants with a white headband.

The second offender is described as a female/black, approximately 20-25 years old, average height and heavy build with medium length straight black hair and wearing a black puffy jacket and black pants with a white headband.

The offenders were last seen leaving the area in a black Ford Taurus with an unknown license plate. The total retail value of the stolen merchandise is approximately $1,000.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, March 7, 2020 between 10:33 AM and 11:32 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 0:59 (hours: minutes).
