Residential Burglars Take $3400 Cash During Garage Sale on Brittany Dr Near Kennicott Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:46 PM Saturday of a residential burglary in the block of 1000 West Brittany Drive Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that six unknown offenders entered the victim's residence, with the victim's permission, following a garage sale at the residence to move a piece of furniture they had purchased.

While inside the residence and unsupervised, the offenders took a duffle bag containing cash proceeds from the garage sale. The duffle bag contained approximately $3,400 cash.


The first offender is described as a female, Hispanic, approximately 5'03" and 140 LBS with dark hair.

The second offender is described as a female, Hispanic, approximately 5'04" and 140 LBS with long, curly, dark hair.

The third offender is described as a teenaged female, Hispanic, with long, curly, dark hair.

The fourth offender is described as a male, Hispanic, slightly balding with a missing front tooth.

The fifth offender is described as a male, Hispanic, approximately 5'08" and approximately 55 years-old.

The sixth offender is described as a male, Hispanic, approximately 5'05" and approximately 180 LBS.

The offenders were last seen leaving southbound from the area in a red 2003 Oldsmobile with an Illinois License plate. A second unidentified vehicle was also associated with the offenders.


DATE/TIME: 07/25 1:00pm – 6:45pm

The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, July 25, 2020 between 1:00 PM and 6:45 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 5:45 (hours: minutes).
