Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:01 PM Saturday of a residential burglary at an apartment in the block of 500 South Cleveland Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders unlawfully entered the victim's vacant apartment while the victim was away and residing in a nursing home.
Taken from the apartment were several pieces of furniture, electronics, jewelry, and silverware. The total value of the stolen items is pending further investigation.
