Arlington Heights police received a report about 2:01 PM Sunday of a theft at Countryside Chapel, 916 East Hintz Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown male offender unlawfully damaged and made forcibly entry into a mailbox on church property.
The offender used a tool to pry open the mailbox and gain entry.
The offender is described as a white/white subject, approximately 5'11" with a slender build, a short beard and mustache, and wearing a white baseball cap, an olive green long sleeved shirt with uniform style patches on it, blue jeans, and white gym shoes.
The offender was last seen leaving the area in a black Ford Expedition with an unknown license plate.
The contents taken from the mailbox were under investigation at the time of the police report.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at 2:00 PM.
