Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:31 AM Saturday of a residential burglary at Hancock Square Apartments, 200 North Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders unlawfully and forcefully entered a vacant apartment unit which was not currently being rented, and was already empty of belongings. The door to the apartment unit was damaged by an apparent pry tool. Initial investigation indicated nothing was taken from the apartment unit.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Friday, September 11, 2020 at 12:00 AM and Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 9:30 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 33:30 (hours: minutes).
