Theft of Scooter at Hasbrook Park on West Maude Avenue, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:51 PM Friday of a theft at Hasbrook Park, 333 West Maude Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender took a children's scooter from the park after the scooter was left unsecured and unattended by the basketball court. A witness saw the offender ride away on the scooter westbound from the park.

The offender is described as a male/black teenaged offender, approximately 5'8" tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with light blue lettering, shorts, and carrying a backpack. The approximate value of the scooter is $200.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 3:50 PM.
