Arlington Heights police responded to an activated burglar alarm about 3:40 AM Thursday of a commercial burglary at Best Buy, 615 East Palatine Road Arlington Heights, IL. Arlington Heights arrived at the store to find that unknown offenders forced entry into front glass doors. Glass panels of an exterior door and an interior lobby door were shattered. Security video captured images of multiple offenders wearing hoodies with their identities hidden entering the store, and grabbing products within a short time period. The offenders focused on Apple products, including iPhones and iPads. The crime is reported to have occurred at 3:40 a.m. overnight Wednesday to Thursday (Christmas Eve) on December 24, 2020 with a duration of less than five minutes.
