Armed Robbers Take Jewelry at a Pawn Shop on Algonquin Rd Near Old Wilke Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 8:45 PM Friday to an armed robbery at the EZ Pawn shop at 1778 West Algonquin Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that two male offenders robbed the pawn shop and took jewelry from the business in the Plaza del Grato strip mall shopping center.

Suspect #1 was described as a male/black wearing black pants, ablack jacket, blue jeans, and white shoes

Suspect #2 was described as a male/black wearing a camouflage mask, a black jacket, black pants and white shoes and displaying a black handgun.

The suspects fled in a white Chrysler 300. Initially the direction of travel was not reported.

The crime is reported to have occurred at 6:47 p.m.
