Bicycle Theft at Arlington Heights Memorial Library

Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:16 PM Monday of a bicycle theft at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 North Dunton Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took a Cannondale mountain bike. The victim reported her 1998 black Cannondale M300 mountain bike stolen from the bike rack. The victim secured her bike with a lock which was cut by an unknown tool. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 40 years-old, wearing an orange T-shirt, and carrying a backpack. The crime is reported to have occurred on Monday, August 15, 2022 between 9:15 AM and 3:15 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 6:00 (hours: minutes). Burglary at Liquor Store on Algonquin Rd Near , Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 3:55 AM Wednesday of a commercial burglary at a retail store at the Plaza Del Grato strip mall 1776 West Algonquin Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police responded to an activated burglar alarm at the Foremost Liquors store and discovered the front window shattered, and that unknown offenders burglarized the store. A review of the surveillance video showed four subjects exit a black Porsche Cayenne. One subject breaks the window and all four enter the store. Taken was approximately $650 in cash and numerous bottles of alcohol. The value of the alcohol was initially unknown. The suspects are described as ... #1. Armed Offender in Group During Catalytic Converter Theft at Northwest Highway and Kensington Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 2:01 AM Monday to a report of a catalytic converter theft at 660 East Northwest Highway Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that unknown offenders removed the catalytic converter from a red 2004 Honda. Video surveillance showed four subjects exit a sedan and proceed to lift the car with a jack and cut the catalytic converter. One of the subjects had a handgun visible in his hand. The cost to replace the catalytic converter is initially unknown. The crime is reported to have occurred on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 2:00 AM. Police received a report that an unknown offender burglarized a townhouse. The victim reported she observed the exterior garage door was ajar and damaged. The victim then checked the interior garage door and observed tool markings on the door. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, with shaggy black hair and brown eyes, about 5'08", with a skinny build, worn out clothes and an accent. The crime is reported to have occurred between Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 9:30 PM and Monday, August 8, 2022 at 7:30 AM.
