Bicycle Theft at Arlington Heights Memorial Library

Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:16 PM Monday of a bicycle theft at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 North Dunton Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders took a Cannondale mountain bike.

The victim reported her 1998 black Cannondale M300 mountain bike stolen from the bike rack. The victim secured her bike with a lock which was cut by an unknown tool.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 40 years-old, wearing an orange T-shirt, and carrying a backpack.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Monday, August 15, 2022 between 9:15 AM and 3:15 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 6:00 (hours: minutes).
