The Village of Arlington Heights announced via Facebook and Twitter about 5:50 p.m. Monday October 15, 2018 that the meeting was canceled due to a power outage. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report about 4:51 p.m. Monday that a telephone pole or transformer was on fire with a tree branch down across a power line on Sigwalt Street west of Dunton Avenue.
