Police received a report that the Chase Bank was robbed by a man Friday evening. Death Investigation for Man Found Unresponsive Near Evanger's Pet Foods, Wheeling Rd in Wheeling Foot Rules Out Foul Play

Wheeling police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:51 AM Wednesday to a report of an unconscious man behind Evanger's 221 South Wheeling Road Wheeling, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics found a man that was unconscious and unresponsive behind Evanger's Pet Food. Police identified the man as Jose Luis Reyes-Leon of Wheeling as he was treated and transported to Glenbrook Hospital, where he was pronounced dead Wednesday morning. Police took precautions during an investigation to rule out foul play. Police from other agencies as part of the Major Case Assistance Team (MCAT) were also on scene with the MCAT large van. After the investigation Wednesday, foul play was not suspected, and the death is believed to be accidental or medically related. The Cook County medical examiner's office performed an autopsy today, and the cause of Reyes-Leon's death is pending further toxicology analysis. Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:07 PM Wednesday to a report of a car vs pole crash with a fir at Arlington Heights Road and Palatine Road Arlington Heights, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics initially received a report of a vehicle crash into a pole and then received a report of a vehicle vs pole crash with a fire. There was no mention of a rescue, but the female victim was apparently out of the vehicle before firefighters arrived. The crashed crossover SUV was facing southbound into a pole on the northbound parkway about 280 feet south of Palatine Road. The female driver was transported to Northwest Community Hospital. Electrical Contractor Suffers Burns at Vapor Bus International on Johnson Drive, Buffalo Grove

Buffalo Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:36 AM Wednesday to an activated fire alarm with a report from the scene that a person was on fire and suffering from burn injuries at Vapor Bus International, 1010 Johnson Drive Buffalo Grove, Il. While responding, firefighters were updated that the person was no longer on fire, and that employees were attempting to get the person down from a lift inside the warehouse. Battalion Chief 4 on arrival reported a large warehouse with nothing showing, and people directing firefighter/paramedics to the patient by 7:43 a.m. The location was possibly located near the loading dock and on the west side of the building.
