Arlington Heights police received a report about 11:01 PM Tuesday of a vehicle burglary in the block of 2500 North Brighton Place Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized unlawfully entered the victim's unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the driveway of the victim's residence. Taken from the vehicle was a small amount of loose change from the center counsel. The crime is reported to have occurred between Monday, December 23, 2019 at 10:00 PM and Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at 11:00 PM. Retail Theft at Kohl's on Dundee Rd Near Ridge Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:19 PM Saturday of a theft at Kohl's, 800 West Dundee Road. Police received a report that an unknown offenders concealed merchandise for sale on their persons before leaving the store without paying for the merchandise. The suspects were initially described as three unknown female/black offenders No additional description details were initially available. One of the offenders was identified as the same offender in several retail thefts at other Kohl's locations. The offenders were last seen leaving the area in a newer model gray sedan with an unknown license plate. The total retail value of the merchandise is pending a final store inventory. Police received a report that an unknown male offender concealed merchandise for sale on his person before leaving the store without paying for the merchandise. The total retail value of the merchandise is approximately $1,000. The offender is described as a male/Hispanic, approximately 20-30 years old, about 5'8" tall and 180 LBS with a long black goatee and wearing a grey sweatshirt, blue sweatpants and black knit cap. The offender was last seen leaving the area in a red Jeep with an unknown license plate. The vehicle was driven by another unknown male offender described as Hispanic, approximately 5'8" tall and 260 LBS with short black hair and wearing a black leather jacket, a red dress shirt and black dress pants. Theft of Wallet from Purse at Restaurant at Algonquin Rd and Golf Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:01 PM Saturday of a theft at Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurant, 798 West Algonquin Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders unlawfully removed the victim's wallet from the victim's purse while the victim was dining at the restaurant. The wallet contained various credit and identification cards and approximately $60. The credit cards were later used fraudulently. 5-Car Crash on Southbound Route 53 Just South of Route 14, Palatine

Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:13 PM Wednesday to a report of a crash with entrapment at Route 53 and Route 14 Palatine, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that at least one vehicle rolled over in a crash. A Palatine fire crew on arrival reported five vehicles involved in a crash with moderate to heavy damage. Toyota Sedan Flips After Hitting Parked Ford Explorer on Cleveland Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:23 PM Tuesday to a report of a rollover crash with injuries in the block of 800 South Cleveland Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a vehicle crash involved a rollover and that the driver was unconscious inside the vehicle (not confirmed). Neighbors rushed to help the motorist before firefighter/paramedics arrived. The patient was extricated within a few minutes and immediately transferred to Ambulance 1, and then transported to Northwest Community Hospital. The injured driver was driving a Toyota Sedan northbound on Cleveland Avenue when the Toyota hit the left rear wheel of a parked white Ford SUV. The Toyota flipped, cartwheeled and rolled onto the roof. There was initially no confirmation whether the driver was speeding, distracted or had a medical issue before the crash.
