Dui Crash, Juvenile Driver Arrest At Pioneer Park, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:36 PM Tuesday to a car-light pole crash at Pioneer Park, 500 South Fernandez Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a vehicle crashed into a light pole near the front entrance. The airbag deployed on the vehicle when it crashed. Police towed the driver's Nissan Sentra to a police holding area. Apparently the driver was not injured. The female/juvenile driver was arrested for DUI and transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department headquarters. Residential Burglary On North Brighton Pl Nets Two Televisions And Jewelry.

Arlington Heights police responded about 11:22 PM Friday to a residential burglary that 'just occurred' in the block of 2600 North Brighton Place Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders entered a residence with no signs of force and removed an unknown amount of jewelry, a 37-inch TV and a 42-inch TV. There are no value estimates available. The rear patio door was found unlocked and the vertical blinds were halfway open. The first sign that the resident knew there was trouble was when a lava rock was discovered on a table inside the home. A pillow case was also missing from the home -- apparently used to carry some of the jewelry out of the home. A necklace was found on the floor in the house, and some jewelry was also found outside near the home. Crash Injures Driver At Woodfield Road And West Frontage Road, Schaumburg

Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:20 PM Sunday to a crash with extrication at Woodfield Road and West Frontage Schaumburg, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics arrived to find a two vehicle crash with the driver of a Honda injured with the driver's side door stuck. Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:49 AM Sunday of an armed robbery with an injured victim at Red Roof Inn, 22 West Algonquin Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that two male/white subjects, at least one armed with a gun, robbed a man in the lobby of the Red Roof Inn. The victim reported he was kicked in the face. The suspects fled south toward the Shell gas station at Algonquin Road and Arlington Heights Road. One suspect was wearing blue pants and a red hoodie. The other suspect was wearing a black hoodie. Jarvis James, 20, residing in the 3000 block of Lynn Court -- an unincorporated area between Arlington Heights and Mount Prospect -- was arrested by Hoffman Estates police Wednesday, April 25, 2013 and charged with armed robbery and home invasion. Police say that Jarvis James and three other men forced their way into an apartment residence in the 700 block of Bode Circle at 9:43 p.m. Wednesday April 10, 2013. Jarvis James faces three counts of home invasion with a firearm and three counts of armed robbery (720 ILCS 5 12-11(a)(3) [12356]). Indianapolis Man Charged With Aggravated Battery Resulting In Great Bodily Harm After Body Slamming Man Into Parking Lot, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 3:33 PM Monday to a report of a battery, just north of McDonald's, 1920 North Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights, IL Police received a report that a male was striking a female in the parking lot in front of T-Mobile on North Arlington Heights Road near Rand Road. Police were updated that the disturbance had moved toward the McDonald's lot. As police arrived they saw a male/white subject injured face-down, and immediately call for paramedics. Police also called for paramedics to expedite because the male victim appeared seriously injured and vomiting while lying face down. Schaumburg Police Department detectives have charged Daniel Anthony O'Shea (male/white, age 44, of 1318 E. Algonquin Rd., Schaumburg) with two felonies related to a burglary to vehicle. The Cook County State's Attorney's Office approved charges of Burglary and Possession of Burglary Tools. Around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday April 21st 2013, detectives, as part of a burglary task force, were conducting surveillance in the area of Olympic Park at 1675 E. Olde Schaumburg Road. Detectives observed O'Shea in the parking lot where he broke a car window and removed a purse that had been left lying on the back seat. Circa 57 Opening This Summer In Former Grand Station And People's Bank Location At Vail Ave And Campbell St

Coming soon is a 1950's-themed restaurant expected to be opened this summer with 10.000 square feet at the corner of Campbell Street and Vail Avenue. The existing bar area from the former Grand Station restaurant will be transformed into an old-fashioned soda fountain, according to owners Anthony Priola and Kimberly Priola.
