Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders The victim reported an unknown subject removed the catalytic converter off his 2017 Mitsubishi
Outlander. The cost to replace the catalytic converter was unknown at the time of the police report.

MacBook Taken in Vehicle Burglary at Apartment Lot on South Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:31 AM Tuesday of a vehicle burglary at 2214 South Goebbert Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a Ford Bronco.


The victim reported an unknown subject entered her Ford Bronco and took a silver Mac Book Pro Gen 3 silver valued at $400, a black Paul Smith leather wallet valued at $800, a black North Face backpack valued at $300, $400 in cash, and five credit cards.

Commercial Burglary at Liquor Store on Golf Rd Near Goebbert Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 4:38 AM Friday of a commercial burglary at Golf Liquor, 606 East Golf Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a commercial burglary alarm activation at the liquor store about 4:37 a.m.


The suspect was described as a heavy-set male, wearing a mask, a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

The offender backed up a BMW sedan in a parking space directly in front of the store and fumbled around the vehicle for awhile before opening the vehicle trunk, and then pulling out a 3-foot sledge hammer from inside the vehicle. The offender then broke the glass front door and made two trips inside the store to remove merchandise.

Stolen were bottles of liquor and cigarettes.


The offender was driving a black or dark gray BMW 2-door sedan.

The store owner immediately repaired the glass door. Arlington Heights police are investigating


The crime is reported to have occurred about 4:37 a.m.

Eggs Thrown at Cars Parked Overnight on Street During Curb and Sidewalk Repair Belmont Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:30 AM Monday of vandalism and criminal damage to several vehicles in the block of 1500 North Belmont Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders criminally damaged about five or six vehicles by throwing eggs at cars that were parked on the street overnight during curb and sidewalk repairs occurring in the neighborhood.

Later, security video was discovered that showed that at least four teens threw eggs at vehicles between 8:40 p.m. and 8:42 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2022.

There were one or two vehicles connected to the teens. Security video showed one sedan moving slowly southbound on Belmont Avenue toward Lynwood Avenue at 8:40 p.m. Next, a second sedan was traveling southbound at a faster speed -- possibly to catch up with the first vehicle. The vehicles were apparently parked just to the left of the field of view of the camera -- either on Lynwood Avenue or on Belmont Avenue just south of Lynwood Avenue. Less than a minute after the vehicles passed, at least four teens involved in a short conversation were observed on video walking northbound on Belmont Avenue to about the middle of the block. The teens then walked back south out of view of the security camera by 8:42 p.m.

Battery Victim Age 70 Struck by Offender in 60s Near Walgreens on Campbell St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded about 1:32 PM Tuesday to a battery at near the Walgreens at 1711 West Campbell Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that a 70-year-old battery victim was outside the store when an offender approached and punched a victim in the shoulder and head area. The victim fell to the ground and the suspect proceeded to kick him.

Burglary at Walgreens, Burglary and SUV Theft at Dealership Overnight, Arlington Heights

Police received a report that four unknown offenders burglarized a car dealership and a Walgreens in Arlington Heights overnight Saturday/Sunday.

Offenders were able to steal a white Jeep Cherokee from Napleton's Arlington Heights Chrysler sometime between 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m.

Then about 3:30 a.m. the Walgreens at 1711 West Campbell Street was burglarized. An initial investigation indicated that the offenders may be the same offenders that took the Jeep Cherokee from Napleton's.

Two Distract, One Steals Wallet Victim's Vehicle at Town & Country Center, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:07 PM Thursday of a theft at 379 East Palatine Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that three unknown offenders were involved in a ruse vehicle burglary in the parking lot near the Sally Beauty store.


A female victim reported to police that as she was walking to her car, she was approached by two subjects who asked her for directions.

While the victim sat in the drivers seat the two subjects asking her for directions distracted her while a third subject approached from the passenger side and opened the passenger door and stole the victim's wallet.

Subject #1: a male/white, medium build, approximately 30 years of age, short hair; wearing a blue hooded jacket, tan baseball hat, black pants, black shoes with white soles, and a black facemask.

Subject #2: female, thin build, medium length straight brown hair; wearing a light in color fur
style coat, dark colored pants, black shoes with white soles, and a light blue facemask.

Subject #3: male white, medium build, approximately 40 years of age, short hair;wearing a black leather jacket, blue pants, navy blue baseball hat, black shoes, and a black facemask.

Criminal Defacement to Property, Graffiti at Apartment on West Miner St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:01 PM Tuesday of criminal defacement to property at an apartment building at 205 West Miner Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders criminally defaced an apartment hallway. The complainant reported graffiti in the hallway and stairwells along with an unknown substance poured on the stairs.

The cost to remove the spray paint and the unknown substance was unknown at the time of the initial police report.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 2:00 (hours: minutes).
